Snow day...again!!!  We spent the day building forts and making snowcakes.  These were taken indoors at night with a lightscoop.  Speedlite is coming!!! I will pry go in an adjust the white balance, but really the composition is poor and I was admittedly just trying to get a post up this week.

Snow day!!! First real snow of the season. Both boys were able to come out and enjoy the snow. 

 All SOOC except the penguin I just brightened a little.  Settings  are ISO 200    f4.0    SS 1/1000

My son's favorite thing...his blanket.  We can't leave home without it.  Pretty much another last minute unispired shot.  I did try some editing in the trial lightroom I have.  Upped the blacks, brightness and contrast.

Here we are the 4th of January and I am just now posting.  Not a good showing.  This pic was snapped last minute as I realized it was the 1st.  New giant dog!

New Backdrop

These are all SOOC.  I have some edited copies I am working on.  Next year's blog will be moving from SOOC to an edited copy. 

SAC Museum

A lot of opportunities missed with the poor lighting and no external flash. 
SOOC The second is a little blown out on the left side, and too shadowy on the right. 

The Costumes

 I must say these are all still SOOC.  50mm 1.4.

 A little hot on the side.  Need to turn down the exposure, too bad at least I can see the whole costume.
